Even with my busy schedule this past Halloween season, I managed to get over to a few haunted events and walk through a few mazes. While I definitely enjoyed them, I noticed something that had never occurred to me before.
I was walking through the maze at Rob Zombie's Great American Nightmare when I noticed that the person in front of me kept pointing at the scare actors that were hidden in the rooms or shadows and calling out their locations and telling them that he saw them. After about two or three rooms of listening to him and not getting any scares (since none of the actors were coming out after being pointed at) I started to think about how much he reminded me of the people who insist on shouting out how they think tricks are done. They are really only there to show other people how they can't be fooled.
Having this in common is one more reason I love Halloween!
